ah vacation

I will post some pictures when I get home.  I have had a great time the past few days.  Went up to KY with my Mom and my "baby" sister.  Three and a half days, with not much to do.  We had some great talks, took a boat ride, went swimming, laughed a lot and cried a little.

Tomorrow we are going to Nashville......maybe we will see some stars.  Then I head home Saturday and back to work on Monday.  To be honest, I need at least another week, but I don't see that happening  anytime soon.

I saw some people this trip that I haven't seen in years........made me think a bit.....where my life was going.....different paths I took........where would I be if I had made different choices.  I have to say, I am mostly happy with the way things are.

random thoughts

a couple of weeks ago i was in Tahlaquah.  i always enjoy going there.....lots of memories...most good.  i'll be back at war eagle again in july for the camp we do. 

today while i was at work the tornado sirens went off; there was one on the ground on the northwest side of town (not where i work or live) .  everyone from our offices were crammed into a small file room (about 35 people).  if the past two days are any indication, it's going to be a long spring.

it has been a rough couple of weeks.  there is some stressfull stuff going on at work.  and while it does not really have anything to do with my work, it has much to do with my strss level.

i did get to see melody and marcia this past weekend.  i miss them so much.  we had a great time, great food, and times together.  here are some pictures of us;

well we had another weekend if snow and ice.  at least this one wasn't as bad as last weekend.  but i am ready for spring.

next week is going to be very hetic.  i leave for tulsa tuesday morning and will be there all week at a conference.  it will be nice to be out of the office. i just hope i can keep up with my e-mails while i am there.  i am looking forward to getting a message. the hotel has a spa and it is my gift to myself while there.
